PUPILS at Piggott School in Wargrave have helped develop a crime survey for young people.

The Youth Community Safety Survey will run from Monday until May 24 and is open to all 11- to 18-year-olds attending a school in Wokingham borough.

It will be used to help tackle crime and other problems experienced by young people.

It is part of the borough council’s annual Safe Communities Survey, which gathers the views of residents.

Youngsters will be asked what their issues are as well as what the council, police and other statutory bodies can do to make them feel safer.

Pupils at the Twyford Road school used discussion forums and feedback sessions in class to shape the final questions and answer options.
