Club’s centenary party

NETTLEBED Village Club will hold its 100th anniversary celebrations on Sunday (noon to 5pm).

NETTLEBED Village Club will hold its 100th anniversary celebrations on Sunday (noon to 5pm).

There will be a barbecue, music, Morris dancing, Punch and Judy shows, fairground games, face-painting and a tombola. The club was built in 1913 by Robert Fleming, the grandfather of James Bond author Ian Fleming, who lived in the village.

Mr Fleming’s great-granddaughter Kate Grimond will give a speech at the party.
