86-year-old who died on White Hill named

A MAN who died in a car on White Hill, Remenham, on Tuesday last week has been named by police.

A MAN who died in a car on White Hill, Remenham, on Tuesday last week has been named by police.

He was 86-year-old George Mansfield, who was on his way home to Maidenhead when he came to a controlled stop and pulled over before passing away at the wheel.

Mr Mansfield, who used to live in Wargrave, was a member of the Henley 41 Club and the Rotary Club of Loddon Vale.

His funeral will take place at Easthampstead Park cemetery and crematorium next Friday (September 6) at 11.15am.
