Festival returns

WOODCOTE Festival will take place on the village green next Saturday (September 14).

WOODCOTE Festival will take place on the village green next Saturday (September 14).

Attractions will include a bouncy castle, coconut shy, lucky dip, face-painting, live music and a climbing wall.

A fire engine from Goring station will visit and children will be able to go inside it.

Community groups including the Women’s Institute, St Leonard’s Church and Woodcote Primary School will run stalls. Pupils from Langtree School will give a presentation on the history of the village.

There will be a horticultural and arts and crafts competitions in the village hall. A barbecue will run throughout the afternoon and visitors will be able to buy ice cream and candyfloss. There will also be a prize tombola and raffle.

The festival runs from 1pm until 5pm. Admission is free.
