A DOCTOR from Goring has written a history book.

Oxford's Medical Heritage, by Rosemary Fitzherbert-Jones, contains 60 short biographies of the figures whose names appear in the city's hospitals.

They include John Radcliffe, after whom the main hospital is named, and Lord Nuffield, who lived at Nuffield House.

The book is on sale at the Bell Bookshop in Bell Street, Henley, and costs £10.
