All ready for another glittering gala dinner

THE Sue Ryder Women of Achievement Awards are now in their eighth year.

Tracey Hancock, head of hospice fund-raising, said: "These awards recognise women who give their time and efforts to support others in the community and acknowledge the difference they make.

â??At the same time they raise awareness of the incredible care we give at Sue Ryder to support all those in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire with life- changing illnesses. We congratulate all those shortlisted for an award and look forward to a great night on March 19.â?�

Money raised at the gala dinner will help fund the Sue Ryder hospice in Nettlebed and the Duchess of Kent hospice in Reading as well as the charityâ??s community care centre in Wokingham and the Charles Clore Unit in Newbury.



The event will also feature an auction and raffle, with prizes including a diamond necklace, tickets and parking for four for a day at Henley Royal Regatta, afternoon tea for two at the Compleat Angler Hotel in Marlow and a photoshoot with professional photographer Kathryn Fell.
