AUTHOR and professional bodyguard Chris Bradford demonstrated his martial arts skills at Icknield Community College in Watlington to mark World Book Day.
Mr Bradford, who writes the Young Samurai and Bodyguard series, is trained in ninjutsu, karate and samurai swordmanship and has a black belt in Zen Kyu Shin taijutsu.
He spoke to year seven and eight students as well as year five and six pupils from Watlington Primary School.
College librarian Penny Didcock said: “The students were fantastically responsive and enthusiastic and were thrilled to have books signed personally by the author.
“As a school, we are committed to reading and he helped reinforce this by creating enthusiasm and excitement for his books.”
