THE family of a girl who died after being hit by a tractor have thanked the public for their support.

Teal Emilia David, six, who was a pupil at Frieth School, died in the accident while on holiday with her family in North Wales on June 27.

Her father Evan is the director of NorCal Veterinary Services in Thame and wrote on the firm’s website: “My family and I would like to thank you all for the love and support you have shown us following the tragic death of our lovely daughter Teal.

“The support has been amazing and we are very grateful and appreciative.”

A private cremation was held last week followed by an open service to celebrate Teal’s life at Hambleden Church and a reception at St Katherine’s, Parmoor.

Mr David and his wife Clare have two other children, Sennen and Sky.
