Organised by the Warren and District Residents’ Association, the fete will feature vintage swings, a test your strength machine, bouncy castle, a dog show and car boot sale.

There will also be games, sports, stalls, sweets, teas and cakes, face-painting, a barbecue, Pimm’s tent, and a raffle with prizes including two VIP weekend tickets to the Reading Festival.

Many of the local clubs and sports teams will provide coaching, games, competitions and taster sessions, including football, golf, Quidditch, Tang Sou Dao and tennis.

There will be on-site parking via the Chazey Road entrance to the playing fields. Parking costs £2 per car and entry to the fete is free.

All proceeds will go towards the regeneration of the Mapledurham pavilion and community hall.
