SUPERFAST broadband has gone live in Wargrave.
Main streets in the village, including High Street and School Lane, are now covered under the Superfast Berkshire scheme, which is run in conjunction with BT.
Ninety per cent of homes in Berkshire are due to have access to fibre-optic broadband by the end of the year.
Cabinets in Wargrave were connected in April, providing speeds of up to 24 megabits per second. Areas in the west of the village are expected to be connected next month.
Residents of Crazies Hill are set to miss out as the cabinet that serves the village will not be updated as part of the multi-million pound programme.
Villagers have to put up with broadband speeds of as little as 2Mbps.
