THE winner of this week’s Christmas hamper competition is Caroline Cousins.

THE winner of this week’s Christmas hamper competition is Caroline Cousins.

Mrs Cousins, of Mill Road, Lower Shiplake, correctly answered that The Feast of Stephen is the feast day on which popular carol

Good King Wenceslas
is set.

She won a “Winter Warmer” Waitrose hamper, gifted by the store in Bell Street, Henley.

It’s full of goodies such as Yorkshire popcorn, cookies, a Christmas spice-scented candle, salted caramel chocolate spread and panettone.

Mrs Cousins, who works in the post office in Lower Shiplake, said she planned to share the hamper with her family. She said: “We have decided to save the hamper for Christmas time. The stuff is so lovely so we have decided to wait until we are with more family members to share it out.”
