A REUNION for former pupils of Icknield School in Watlington will be held next summer.

A REUNION for former pupils of Icknield School in Watlington will be held next summer.

Laurence Smith, 59, who lives in Lerwick in the Shetland Islands, is searching for people who were at the school from 1967 to 1972.

The event will be held at the school, now known as Icknield Community College, from Friday to Sunday, June 24 to 26. A buffet will be held on the Friday might at the Fox Country Inn in Ibstone. Ideas for the Saturday include recreating the bus journey to and from RAF Benson, where many pupils then lived, and a walk around Watlington.

The main reunion will be held on the Saturday night and on Sunday there will be a walk to the Watlington White Mark followed by lunch at the Fox Country Inn.

If you are interested in attending, call Mr Smith on 07768 262668 or Christina Nixon on 01865 452106 or email christina.nixon@ ntlworld.com
