Fair boosts church funds

A CHRISTMAS fair organised by St Leonard’s Church in Woodcote raised £1,852 for church funds.

A CHRISTMAS fair organised by St Leonard’s Church in Woodcote raised £1,852 for church funds.

The village hall was decorated with banners and lights while stallholders wearing Christmas hats and jumpers sold a range of goods, including homeware, jewellery, bric-a-brac, books, cakes and  preserves.

A colouring competition was won by Mattie Sevenson, Harriet Bailey, Ross McDougall and Tilly Murrin.

• St Leonard’s will host an evening of silent reflection on Thursday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
