NOMINATIONS for this year’s 10th annual Sue Ryder Women of Achievement Awards will close on Friday, February 5.
The awards honour inspirational women from Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
They will be presented in seven categories, including business, sports, the community and the arts as well as young achievers aged 25 or under.
There are two new categories this year — women of achievement in services, which is open to women in public service roles, and the Sue Ryder woman of courage award.
The winners will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony at Trunkwell Mansion House in Beech Hill, near Reading, on March 11. One of them will also receive the overall Woman of Achievement 2016 title.
Tickets cost £50 per person or £450 for a table of ten.
The awards are sponsored by Henley investment firm Invesco Perpetual and Higgs Group, publishers of the Henley Standard.
