A FORMER company director has passed away, aged 73.

A FORMER company director has passed away, aged 73.

Michael Hunt, who lived in Henley for 20 years, will be missed by the many people all over the world who knew him, respected him and were inspired by him through his career in computer software.

He had many close friends throughout his joyful, abundant and exceptional life and enjoyed more than 30 years of heli- skiing with Canadian Mountain  Holidays. Mr Hunt was a member of Phyllis Court Club in Henley and of the Garth and South Berks Hunt.

He was also fond of cycling and played golf at Castle Royle Golf Club in Knowl Hill.

He leaves Sandra, his wife of 50 years, his son Bryan and daughter-in-law Lucy-Kate, his daughter Stephanie and son-in-law Andrew, six grandchildren, Paige, Oliver, Kally, Joe, Mimi and Annabel, and his siblings in Canada, Barbara and her husband David, Pamela and her husband Marshall, Tricia and her husband Allen, Ron and his wife Shizu, and nieces and nephews.



Mr Hunt was predeceased by his brother William, who is survived by his wife Frances.

The funeral will be held at St Mary the Virgin Church in Hart Street, Henley, on Wednesday (January 20) at 1pm.
