Tragic death ruled as misadventure

A GIRL from Frieth died after being accidentally run over by a tractor driven by her father, an inquest heard

A GIRL from Frieth died after being accidentally run over by a tractor driven by her father, an inquest heard.

Teal David, six, was riding on the footplate of the tractor when the accident happened during a family holiday in Aberdaron, North Wales, in June last year.

The inquest heard the cause of death was crush injuries to Teal’s chest caused by a large wheel.

Her father Evan, director of NorCal Veterinary Services in Thame, had been giving his three children a ride on the tractor when Teal fell off.

The coroner recorded a verdict of misadventure.
