Vintage fair treats Mayor to makeover

THE Mayor of Henley was given a Fifties-style makeover at a vintage fair

THE Mayor of Henley was given a Fifties-style makeover at a vintage fair.

Lorraine Hillier had her hair curled thanks to Le Petit Salon at Sunday’s event in Henley town hall on Sunday.

Twenty stallholders were selling vintage clothes, jewellery, and accessories and singer Steve Conway entertained visitors.

The fair was organised by Mary Skinner, 24, of Victoria Road, Wargrave, who works for London vintage fashion firm Modes and More.

She said: “There was a great atmosphere and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

“Lorraine had a great time and bought lots of stuff. I used to work with her at Hot Gossip so she’s always supported the vintage things I’ve done.”

Another fair will be held at the town hall on July 10.
