THE former wife of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson has died after a short illness.

THE former wife of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson has died after a short illness.

Sylvia Anderson jointly created the Sixties puppet show with her former husband, who lived in Nuffield until his death in 2012.

Mrs Anderson, 88, from Bray, voiced the programme’s character Lady Penelope. She and Mr Anderson divorced in 1981.
