CHILDREN enjoyed craft activities with a royal theme at Woodcote village hall to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.
The youngsters coloured in pictures of corgis and the Queen’s guardsmen and made crowns from shiny cardboard and tissue paper.
Afterwards, volunteers told stories and sang songs before serving afternoon tea. The event was organised by St Leonard’s Church in Woodcote as part of its regular “messy church” workshops.
Rev Linda Smith, team vicar for Woodcote, said: “It went very well. There were families here from the moment we opened and everybody enjoyed themselves.”
