‘Grass’ stays

WARGRAVE Pre-school has been given permission by the parish council to lay artificial grass in its garden.

It carried out the work earlier this year as a trial but wants to make it permanent. The council owns the land off East View Road.

Parish clerk Stephen Hedges said the grass area had been very worn. Councillor Marion Pope said: “It looks so much neater now.”

The pre-school was also granted permission to apply blackboard paint to a wall inside the building.
