STOKE ROW has been chosen to take part in a pilot scheme designed to develop a simpler form of neighbourhood plan.
The village was selected by South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority.
A group of residents is drawing up a list of key priorities for the plan.
Priorities identified so far include the protection of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the preservation and maintenance of open spaces within the village and the provision of affordable housing.
Part of the process involves consultation, surveys and meetings with residents to ensure the priorities reflect their views.
