Park failure

THE playground at The Hawthorns in Charvil is to be refurbished after it failed a routine safety inspection.

Work is expected to include the replacement of damaged floors in the playground’s towers and climbing wall and the re-attachment of ropes on the cargo net.

A contractor from Wokingham Borough Council attended the area on Monday last week to quote for the work.
