CHECKENDON’S 40-over friendly at home to WOODCOTE on Sunday featured a career best 144 for opener John Acland-Hood who hit 24 fours enabling his team to reach 277-5.

Despite the best effors of Johnny Clark and Johnny Aldridge, Woodcote were unable to match this.

Youthful medium pacer Eesh Mishra was the pick of the bowlers for the home side, taking 3-22 as Checkendon secured victory by a margin of 118 runs.
