AFTER a good start to the season WOODCOTE’S Sunday side lost their third game in a row, this time to LONDON UTOPERS by 121 runs.

The visitors batted first and made a satisfactory total, aided by the top scorer extras. Woodcote’s young debutant Archie Clark bowled creditably and took his first wicket for the club.

In reply the home side lost two early wickets, but a third wicket partnership between Anderson and Clark threatened to put them back in the hunt until Clark fell to a running catch, after which wickets fell regularly, and after 23 overs Utopers wrapped up an easy win.
