GORING came out on top in a low scoring game against ENGLEFIELD on Sunday.

On a low bouncing track, hosts Goring were able to limit Englefield to 125 with Adam Ellis being the pick of the bowlers taking 3-18.

Goring initially replied strongly reaching to 116-3 but Englefield’s Van Der Merwe sparked a mid-order collapse with the next four wickets falling for just two runs. However, Goring’s lower order kept their nerve, running out winners by three wickets.
