Peppard Stoke Row won their first game after restricting Welford Park to 123-3 off their 12 overs, Gerry Bacon (39 not out) and Andy Watts (26 not out) leading the way in the run chase as their side reached 124-3 with 10 balls to spare.

However, despite Watts (34 not out) and Alfie Burnett (26 not out) taking Peppard Stoke Row to 120-4 against Burnham, the east Berkshire side cruised to 121-1 in just nine overs in reply.

• Peppard Stoke Row are running indoor nets at The Oratory School between 2pm and 3pm on Sundays – barring October 23 and 30 – until December 9. Any potential new members are encouraged to attend.
