TWO young cricketers from Watlington had the chance to represent the county.
Chloe Lenahan, of Stonor Green, and Laura Goulden, of Chestnut Place, took part in the match against Worcestershire which Oxfordshire won by 64 runs to 52.
Put into bat, Oxon found it hard to score runs on a damp wicket, but after losing three quick wickets, they reached a total of 64 for seven off their 25 overs.
In reply Worcestershire were up with the run rate before three batsmen were each out for zero. They ended their 25 overs on 56 for five.
Both girls, who are 11-years-old, attend Watlington Primary School and play at Aston Rowant Cricket Club.
