HENLEY paceman Tom Nugent took four wickets as BERKSHIRE earned their first win of the season in the Unicorns Trophy Group 4 at Dinton on Sunday.
Having made 303-9 in their 50 overs, Berks bowled out BUCKINGHAMSHIRE for 152 to win by 151 runs.
It was a good day for Henley players. David Barnes, showing a welcome return to form for the county, made 33 and shared an opening stand of 67 with new partner, the debut-making Waqas Hussain from Slough.
Henley opener Michael Roberts came in at number three and he and Hussain added 114 for the second wicket. Both fell in quick succession, Hussain for 74 off 101 balls and Roberts for 68 off 83 deliveries.
There was another big stand of 104 in just 10 overs for the fourth wicket with the Morris brothers, Richard and James, both making half-centuries. Richard reached 52 off 26 balls and James 51 off 36.
