HENLEY CHEETAHS U11s ran out winners in their Berkshire Youth Division 1 West clash with local rivals KIDMORE END KITES U11s on Sunday.
Matthew Stanley and Dan Kernick opened the bowling for Henley and restricted the Kidmore End openers in the first four overs.
It took sharp work in the field from Matt Crook and Josh Day to take the first wicket with a run-out. A good ball from Alex Leedham bowled the opener and after 10 overs Kidmore End were just shy of 40 runs for the loss of two wickets.
Tristan Flower took a wicket which was followed by a fine couple of overs from Rory Richmond taking two wickets, one bowled and one from a catch from Ollie Doyle, which combined with a direct hit from Nathan May in the deep left Kidmore reeling.
Kidmore End attempted to drag themselves back into the game with a couple of fours in one over, but Cheetahs finished them off with Crook, Leedham and Stanley removing the final batsmen. Kidmore End were all out for 79 with three balls remaining.
