A GOOD all round display from CRAZIES HILL saw them cruise to victory against LOWER EARLEY on Sunday.
Having won the toss and electing to field, Crazies Hill were immediately on top as Searle had Khan caught at mid-on by Reiss Simpson in his first over. With Scholfield clean bowling Maynard in the next over, Lower Earley were struggling at 11-2.
Lower Earley found scoring difficult in the face of some accurate bowling and with Searle bowling Anurag and Margrie taking two quick wickets, thanks to more good catching from Reiss Simpson and his brother Ollie, they were in trouble at 36-5 after 13 overs.
As Margrie completed a spell of eight overs for four runs, Earley could add only 20 runs in the next 12 overs.
With Margrie now out of the attack, Earley tried to accelerate the scoring but Neal and Hunt perished in quick succession as the Simpson family contributed to both wickets as father, Mike, caught the former and Ollie bowled the latter.
