Juniors get call-ups

HENLEY juniors made a big impression at the age group trials for the Berkshire County Cricket Club.

Selected for the U11 county squad were Adam Searle, Freddy Loveland, Liam Hilditch, Max Hanshaw and Monty Bradbury whilst Henley are represented in the U12 squad by Charlie Bradbury, George West, Hector Elrington and Johnny Connell.

In the U13 squad Henley are represented by Rufus Stone, Michael Williams and Matthew Dalrymple while the U14 squad’s representation will be Imran Malik, Ryan Palihawadana, Jack Davies, Harry Maskell and Josh Bisdee. No fewer than 12 Henley U13s have made it into their district squad — Angus Harris-White, Callum Theodorou, Dominic Meeks, Felix Watson-Smyth, Jack McNeill, Joseph Ruffle, Josh Howard, Tom Batchelor, Umar Asghar, Archie Friend, Jack Potter and Thomas Jordan.

There is no Henley representation in the U15 squad but Daniel Jordan, Daniel Wright and Kalhan Shah have all made it into the U15 district side whilst Will Legg, already with some senior experience under his belt, joins the U17 county squad.

In girls’ cricket, Romilly Hayward and Mia Rogers are in the U13s county squad whilst Sophie Jordan, Lottie Gudge and Lally Williams have been selected for the U11 squad.
