Henley and Wargrave clinch promotions

HENLEY 2nds’ fourth win of the season at EVERSLEY was not enough to save them from relegation from Division 1 on Saturday.

The hosts, having won the toss and electing to bat first, were dismissed for 156. In reply Henley reached their target in just 23.5 overs as they eased to 158-3.

KIDMORE END’S defeat at WOKINGHAM ensured the Gallowstree Common side were also relegated from the top flight as they finished at the foot of the table.

The visitors won the toss and batted first and put on 153 with J Sheldon top scoring with 59.

In reply the hosts eased to 155-1 to secure victory in 36.5 overs.
