Leach bludgeons his way to century to help Peppard to derby victory

In wet conditions the visitors batted first in a 60 overs match.

Fifteen-year-old opener Leach, who scored his first century for the club, and Garry Legg put on 104 in the first 20 overs before Legg was dismissed by Vockins.

Tim Vines joined Leach and they put on 81 as Peppard posted a challenging total of 185-1.

In reply Butler hit 43 for the home side but they couldn’t keep up with the score rate as they closed on 126-5. Peppard captain Rob Dyer took two wickets.
