On a batsman-friendly wicket Woodcote were asked to field in a time game.

The Falkland openers got off to a good start but Pearson and Strokes stuck at the task and were rewarded with a wicket each.

Thomas and Piper put on a 130 partnership before Ravenhill dismissed Piper for 66. With Thomas on 82 the Falkland skipper declared with the total on 248 and with half an hour to go. This gave Woodcote 59 overs to chase down 248.

Woodcote set about the challenge with a Anderson and Fuller putting on 81 for the first wicket. Clark hit a sublime 75 and Horn was unbeaten in 47.

With a couple of quick wickets falling Falkland had their sights on victory but Strokes coming in at eight hit an unbeaten 21 to give Woodcote victory with six overs to go.
