Trinity fall short

HENLEY’S Trinity School lost out to Reading’s Churchend Primary Academy last Friday in a repeat of last year’s Kwik Cricket

HENLEY’S Trinity School lost out to Reading’s Churchend Primary Academy last Friday in a repeat of last year’s Kwik Cricket Festival held at Shiplake College.

More than 100 children from 12 schools took part in the tournament which included sides from Sacred Heart, Valley Road, Nettlebed, Crazies Hill and Hemdean House.

The format was round robin league matches followed by a knockout competition. The final saw Churchend Primary Academy score 181 to Trinity’s 126.

The tournament was sponsored by Performance Cricket and Shiplake College.
