TIM VINES hit a century as PEPPARD won their local derby last Sunday at home against SONNING COMMON by 103 runs.

Vines’ first century of the season was well backed up by 15-year-old Will Legg who hit 81 not out as the duo put on 160 for the third wicket. Hayden made 38 as Peppard reached 295-3 from their allotted 40 overs.

In reply Sonning Common were soon in trouble at 17-2 but good batting by the last batsman saw the visitors to 192-8.
