Wincott hits century

A CENTURY and a hat-trick were the stand out highlights of GORING’S victory against DORCHESTER on Sunday.

A CENTURY and a hat-trick were the stand out highlights of GORING’S victory against DORCHESTER on Sunday.

Having elected to bat, a youthful Goring team containing only two players over 25 and four U15s scored 232-6 largely built around a fine 110 from Stephen Wincott.

Dorchester’s response started well with Redhead playing through the off-side for 30 but the regular fall of wickets, including a first Goring hat-trick for U15 Alex McGee and four wickets from Tom Ferry including his 200th scalp for the club, saw the Dorchester response falter and they finished 111 runs short.
