Winning the toss, Henley chose to bat and openers Mesome Hussain (86) and Peter Neville (36) built a solid foundation. However, the Henley middle order collapsed as they were bowled out for 199.

In reply Ranger and Kasmi both bowled well and reduced Barnes to 36-6. An impressive run out from Alex Johnson with a direct throw from point added to Barnes’ woes. A spirited resolve from Barnes’ youngsters delayed the inevitable as Barnes were bowled out for 104.
