HARPSDEN’S Sam Imlay continued his fine season with the bat when he helped his side defeat HURST by five wickets

HARPSDEN’S Sam Imlay continued his fine season with the bat when he helped his side defeat HURST by five wickets on Sunday.

Hosts Hurst made 145-8 from their 40 overs with Ben Bradish the pick of the Harpsden bowlers, returning figures of 3-15 from his eight overs.

In reply Christian Whittaker (43) got Harpsden off to a great start before tight bowling from Lewis Smith (3-16) pegged back the visitors. Sam Imlay played the innings of the day, with his 68 not out guiding Harpsden to a comfortable victory.
