Nets begin for Henley

HENLEY Cricket Club will be starting their indoor winter net practice sessions each Sunday morning from next month.

HENLEY Cricket Club will be starting their indoor winter net practice sessions each Sunday morning from next month.

The sessions, that take place from 9am to 11am, will be held at Shiplake College in the sports hall. The first session will be on February 1.

Existing members and new members are welcome to attend.

Meanwhile junior pre-season training for boys and girls gets under way at the end of this month, also at Shiplake College. Each session will be led by the Performance Cricket coaching team of Chris Ellison and Matt Rowe.

Sessions continue through February, March and early April.



Henley’s thriving women’s and girls’ programme begins on January 31 led by Ellison from 2.45pm to 4.15pm.

Henley’s junior boys’ programme begins on February 1 led by Rowe. Session times for the four age groups are as follows: U9s, 3.45pm to 5pm; U11s, 5pm to 6.30pm; U13s and U15s, 6.30pm to 8pm.
