Woodcote triumph

WOODCOTE comfortably defeated previously unbeaten ALDERMASTON VILLAGE by eight wickets at home on Sunday.

WOODCOTE comfortably defeated previously unbeaten ALDERMASTON VILLAGE by eight wickets at home on Sunday.

Aldermaston were bowled out before tea with skipper, Jonny Aldridge, claiming three wickets for 11 runs. Sean Bell, Mark Pearson and Pete Roberts also bowled well to claim two wickets apiece.

Aldermaston were never in the hunt after tea as Ryan Lennard and Crawford Anderson enjoyed a century opening partnership. Anderson was in impressive form and raced to his 50 before retiring.
