THE CHECKENDON ground saw another high scoring encounter on Sunday as the STROKEMAKERS raced to 228-9 in 37 overs with Tippu hitting a rapid half century which included four sixes.

The home team had a mixed day in the field taking a number of good catches but also dropping several.

Manpreet Singh dominated the Checkendon reply with 114 against a strong bowling and fielding side. He shared a 72 run fourth wicket partnership with Stewart Manning but could not prevent his side being bowled out for 182 as seamers Naeem and Zaheer took four wickets each.
