The home team reached 222-8, thanks to Johnny Wright’s elegant 82 and hard-hitting contributions from John Bradley and Will Stevens.

Rajesh Tiwari was the pick of the Checkendon bowlers taking 3-28 in eight pacy overs, though young Adi Tripathi’s 2-35 showed his medium pace potential.  Manpreet Singh, Jim Warren and Josh Breakspear all reached 20 for the visitors but Harpsden youngsters Matt martin and Max Stanley ran through the middle order, taking three wickets apiece as Checkendon collapsed to 103 all out in 27.12 overs.

RGRAVE at home by 31 runs.



The Kites made 164-7 before bowling the visitors out for 133.
