Pavilion fund-raiser

STONOR Cricket Club have teamed up with bookmakers and local racehorse syndicate EPDS Racing to present the Reading/Henley area Cheltenham Festival preview evening later this month.

The event will take place on February 26 at the Crown at Pishill at 7.15pm.

The panel at the evening will include Gold Cup winning jockey Andrew Thornton and Channel 4 and Racing UK commentator Richard Hoiles amongst others. The panel will be chaired by Sky Sports correspondent Paul Kelso. The event will be raising funds for Racing Welfare and for the refurbishment of Stonor Cricket Club’s pavilion.

There will also be a chance to win a pair of tickets to Champion Hurdle day at the Cheltenham Festival from sponsors Stan James, as well as a share in a racehorse for six months courtesy of EPDS Racing.

Entry is £15 and by advance tickets only which and can be purchased at cheltenhameve
