Openers Eddie Handley and Mark Berry were scoring well until Handley played on and was out for 12. No other batsman scored more than eight runs after that and the innings closed with Kidmore End on 67-6 off their 20 overs. In reply when Handley and Jacob Holroyd got their line wickets started to fall at regular intervals, with Matthew O’Farrelly being the pick of the bowlers with of 3-12.

In the 19th over and with the light fading fast, Crowthorne required just five runs to win when Holroyd took the last two wickets, the first a sharp catch by the keeper Will Graham to seal a dramatic win for Kidmore End and set up a home tie with Purley in the next round.
