Shiplake 2nds had a comfortable win against Claires Court School in which George Gundry (60) and captain Dom Allen (50) performed well with the bat.

James Roxburgh Smith took two wickets as Shiplake U15A beat Claire’s Court School U15s by seven wickets. Claires Court batted first and were all out for 74 which Shiplake eased to with Tomas Gorringe top scoring with 28 from just 31 balls.

Shiplake College U15A defeated local rivals Oratory School U15s by 89 runs. Batting first Shiplake put on 195-8 with Howard top scoring with 69 and Brooks hitting a half-century. In reply Oratory were bowled out for 106 with Haynes taking 4-15.

Claires Court U15s defeated Shiplake College U15B side. Batting first Claires Court put on 106 from their 20 overs, a total that Shiplake couldn’t match.



Shiplake College U15B side got back to winning ways against The Oratory U15s. The Oratory, batting first, were all out for 88 before Shipake eased to 92-1 from just 10.1 overs to win the match by nine wickets. Josh Lloyd returned impressive bowling figures of 5-11 for Shiplake.

Shiplake College U14A had back-to-back wins against Claires Court and The Oratory.

In their first match against Claires Court Shiplake put on 147-8 with Claire’s Court finishing 14 runs short of their target. Against the Oratory Toby Gorringe hit a century and Callum Creighton 60 as Shiplake put on 234-5. In reply the Oratory were all out 68 runs short of their target with Creighton taking 6-13.

Shiplake College U14B side triumphed at Claires Court School U14s. Batting first the hosts put on 88-4 with Shiplake replying with 89-3 with Archie Buchanan top scoring with 40.

Against the Oratory U14s, Shiplake College U14B side ran out winners by three wickets. Batting first the Oratory were all out for 102 with Shiplake passing their total with wickets in hand.

Shiplake College U13A side narrowly lost out away to Claires Court U13s. Batting first the hosts put on 125 off 20 overs. In reply Shiplake were well placed needing 19 runs from the last four overs before losing all their wickets.
