Bushmen defeated

WOODCOTE maintained their 100 per cent record on Sundays with a comfortable win over first-time opponents

WOODCOTE maintained their 100 per cent record on Sundays with a comfortable win over first-time opponents BBC BUSHMEN.

Bushmen struggled on a slow wicket to get above four runs an over for most of their innings despite some inaccurate bowling. Highlights were a run out by stand-in keeper Mike Stroker and a juggling catch off his own bowling by Pete Roberts.

A fortunate opening stand of 41 got Woodcote on their way but two quick wickets saw them in trouble at 52-3 before Mike Stroker came to the rescue and saw them home, passing the target with more than seven overs to go.
