Low-cost solution

WITH Henley’s need for some affordable housing, estate agent Phil Booth has an idea to settle the ongoing dispute over the future of Thames Farm.

The land between Henley and Shiplake, which is owned by Claire Engbers, has been the subject of several planning appeals as well as government intervention yet still there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel.

Phil says: “This could be a good site for a Community Land Trust initiative if the owner is willing to donate their land for low-cost housing and self-build opportunities.”

Over to you, Claire.
