DICK BUSH, who is chairman of Wargrave Parish Council, is clearly unfamiliar with the Miley Cyrus twerking phenomenon.

As councillors discussed a forthcoming social media workshop, he asked: “So, what is twerking?”, referring to the raunchy dance made famous by the young pop star.

Amid laughter from the assembled public, Councillor Chez Payne-Annetts replied: “You mean tweeting, right?”, to which Councillor Bush repeated: “No, twerking.”

Cllr Payne-Annetts, reluctant to explain exactly what the suggestive dance was, quickly changed the topic, saying: “That’s something completely different, Dick. You don’t want to know about that.”
