IF you read the letters page last week, you may have noticed the main picture letter was from “CD of Peppard” trying to surprise his wife with a picture taken without her knowledge of her reading her beloved Henley Standard.

I can tell you it worked. “CD” has contacted me to say: “Reaction: surprise, delight and laughter! Many thanks for publishing.”
